HistoryTunes has released a 187 page resource packet to accompany the 50 song HistoryTunes collection which tells the 400 year history of America through 50 pop/rock tunes. This packet includes the following:
- A synopsis of the topic of each song.
- The lyric of each song with the key terms (vocab) in bold.
- A full vocabulary and definition sheet for each song.
- A leveled work sheet for each song which provides tiered and scaffolded
questions for each student depending their individual abilities. These
questions are based upon Bloom's Taxonomy and Depth of Knowledge principles
and many TIER 3 questions provided an opportunity for higher order thinking.
